Hey I just thought of another thing that you might be interested in experiencing! You should check out the Philadelphia Folk Festival. It's like basically a huge hippie fest and everybody goes and brings blankets and sits on top of a hill and there's a huge stage set up and folk bands and singers come and perform...I mean it isn't free but it's pretty cheap. It lasts three days, and there are tons of different art vendors and food vendors set up all around. You should check it out! Sounds awesome! Will definitely check it out. Thank you! :) |

Fallingwater or Kauffman House is a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and is listed among Smithsonian’s “28 places to visit before you die”. The home was built partly over a waterfall on Bear Run in the Mill Run section of Stewart Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The house was made as a weekend home until it was donated and opened as a museum. For more information [and ticket prices] visit the official website of Fallingwater.

617. Go see the zen rock garden in Ryoan-Ji
(by [rand])
Measuring about the size of a tennis court, the Ryoan-Ji garden is composed solely of 15 large and small rocks, some encircled by moss, grouped in five clusters on a bed of carefully raked white sand. From a distance, these rocks resemble islands, the sand, a tranquil sea. Research have found that the rocks, when viewed from a proper angle, evoke the outline of a branching tree. However, the anonymous designer left no explanation leaving the garden’s exact meaning a mystery (source).
616. Visit Serengeti National Park in Tanzania
(by Robbie Vedlwijk)
Serengeti is the oldest and most popular national park in Tanzania. This world heritage site is famed for its annual migration. Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. Heds of buffalo, groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands upon thousands of gazelles (source).
